Thank you for the amazing journey. It was a fabulous way to see a little piece of Greece. You were wonderful and knowledge. The meals, no words to describe how great they were, except I’m sure I will not be able to zip my pants!
Five stars ++ Alicia, you could be a chef in the best restaurant. Thanos, I really enjoyed watching you sail in the storm, so calm and with such an understanding of the water. You made the trip safe and enjoyable.
I know Russ really loved the coves you chose for snorkeling and swimming. This week will be our favorite to talk about when we get home!

We were proud each time we arrived in harbors to have the most beautiful boat: Velos!
And during this fantastic week we also realized that we had the
BEST captain: Thanos, and the
BEST swimmer cook of Greece: ALICJA!!!
Even with 3 meter waves & force 7 wind we will definitely come back (without forgetting our buckets :)) to discover the Cyclades with this wonderful team =

Thank you both so much for an incredible introduction to Greece and the Greek Islands. You were recommended so highly by our friends Matt & Jess (who sailed August 2011) and you have exceeded our expectations!! :)
We feel so lucky to have shared in such a special experience and also to have met so many wonderful people, including our new friends from Wigan and your hilarious friends Stefanos & Konstantina!!

Thank you once again Thanos and Alicia for another wonderful cruise, our 3rd in 3 years! Alicia’s cooking and hospitality are always fantastic and even Thanos is getting a little bit more laid back, except when listening to us flush the toilets!
We all love our weeklong trip and have looked forward to it each year. I can’t think of a better recommendation other than the fact if we didn’t enjoy it, we wouldn’t have come back for 3 consecutive years!

Παιδάκια σας ευχαριστούμε για ακόμη μια φορά πάρα πολύ για τη φιλοξενία!! Για τέταρτη φορά καταφέρατε να μας ταξιδέψετε και όχι μόνο πραγματικά, αλλά το πιό σημαντικό καταφέρνετε, με τις φανταστικές επιλογές που κάνετε σε λιμανάκια και κόλπους, να ταξιδεύετε το νου μας τόσο όμορφα, που μας ξεκουράζετε από όλα!!
Πόσο τυχεροί όσοι μαζί σας για πρώτη φορά γνωρίζουν αυτές τις γωνιές της Ελλάδας, μα πάνω απ’ όλα τη φιλοξενία δύο ζεστών ανθρώπων. Ανυπομονούμε να τα πούμε άμεσα το χειμώνα πλέον με κρασάκι (μπύρα μάλλον) αναπολώντας τις υπέροχες αυτές μέρες.
Φιλιά πολλά έως τότε, να έχετε πάντα καλές θάλασσες!!

The week is over and we are more sad than we can say to be leaving. There is an old expression – ‘the wine of good company’. This is definitely one of those times when we can use it.
You provide the perfect blend of quite professionalism and friendship. Added to this has been the most fantastic food. If you ever publish a cookery book, I will buy it!
The timeless backdrop of the Greek Islands, complete with near perfect weather has given us all a holiday to remember.

Dear Thanos and Alicia,
Thank you very much for making our stay with you on Velos so memorable and for treating us so royally. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our only complaint is that one week is not long enough!
None of us could actually believe it when the week ended. It seemed that we had only just left Lefkas when we arrived back there yesterday. You have given us a holiday that we will remember with fondness for many years.
I have sailed under a few captains and you can tell immediately those who know what they are doing. I was impressed from the outset by your boat handling skills and the calm, unruffled approach you took to the various maneuvers required on a yacht.
As to Alicia’s cooking, well there are not sufficient superlatives in the dictionary to praise her skills. How she managed to create so many fabulous dishes day after day in a tiny galley defies belief. Perhaps my joke about you being a Time Lord was not so far off the mark after all. Together the two of you have found a way to master the fourth dimension!
I hope very much that we can meet again if you come to England and I know that we would all love to sail with you again.

Thank you for the perfect weather, including the sort rain, the blue skies every day, the warm seas, the coves, the tavernas, the swimming and snorkeling.
To make a perfect 60th birthday present you added miraculous food, good humor, a fantastic boat, patience for bad mariners when maneuvering and a tolerance for all our quirks – stones and all!!

Dear Thanos and Alicja,
Thank you for our wonderful week. Every day we enjoyed a different menu prepared with flare and care by Alicja. This is definitely the best floating restaurant or ‘best Greek restaurant’!!
Also every day we experienced The Thanos art of docking the boat – always with a glint in his eye and humor in his belly. Of course we always won!! :)
We need to remember the fabulous liqueurs, the naked man with a shotgun, the handsome friend in the pink shirt, the drinking games and being tied together, how to flush the toilet, the liqueurs, Alicja swimming, swimming, swimming, the liqueurs and generally the fabulous way Thanos and Alicja have introduced us to the Greek culture.

Tydzień na Velosie minął nam tak szybko, że będziemy się jeszcze długo zastanawiać, czy to było naprawdę, czy to był piękny sen.
Myślę, że wszyscy niżej podpisani podzielą moje odczucia – czuliśmy się pod Waszą opieką wspaniale i bezpiecznie oraz otoczeni wielką serdecznością.

Where do I start, the sailing, cooking, scenery, sunshine, Velos, Thanos, Alicia, all fantastic. We have holidayed from Texas to Alaska, Weymouth to the Isle of Sky, but nothing compares with the Greek Islands; such friendly people, good food and more importantly no rain!
I had my 60th birthday on board and was made to feel like a king, even a birthday cake. Alicia's cooking is fantastic and Thanos pours a good gin & tonic, add the sunshine and warm sea and you have the perfect holiday.
Unfortunately we had two of our party that had to cancel but Tracie managed to fill the spare cabin with her exotic outfits and wonderful jewelry.
Thanos runs a strict ship but we still experienced the odd boll…ing particularly the day before the end when someone passed an undesirable item in the toilet and blocked the port side pump! The overall experience has been fantastic, Alicia’s cooking has been 6 star, in fact the whole trip is 6 star.
We will return and thank you Guy & Nino for the recommendation.

Velos, the swimming Hilton with the blue underwater light,
makes eyes and soul pretty wide!!
Thanos brought us to the nicest bays and Alicja was cooking for us in heavenly ways.
So we had a very pleasant time -thank God we had enough wine-! We leave Velos with lots of tears, hopefully you see us again at least in 4 years……

Drodzy Alicjo i Thanosie,
Przez tydzień byliśmy Waszymi gośćmi. Dbaliście o nas wyśmienicie, Alicja opowiadając, budując wyśmienitą, domową atmosferę, no i oczywiście świetnie gotując.
Thanassis, jako „Pan Domu” i Kapitan dbał onasze bezpieczeństwo, sprawnie i profesjonalnie przemieszczał nas w coraz piękniejsze meijsca. Jesleśmy bardzo wdzięczni za ten tydzień, będziemy go często wspominać.
